If Nero fiddled while Rome burned, what is so goddamned wrong with that? Maybe Nero was a crazy psychotic asshole, I only know what i've been told, but if he took a moment to birth a melody into this shitstink world I say good for him. Could he undo all his wrongs there and then? I suspect not, Could he save Rome from the fire? Not likely once the chaos had erupted. Is not choosing to play music better than sitting in remorse, or leaping from the balcony, or running into the fray? I say gogo-Nero. In that moment for which he is so widely derided he was better than most of you ever are.
